A highly growing body of research has attempted to explore various aspects of youth and farmers entrepreneurship. Yet, there is no research that brings them both under one study. This work sets out to find common influential factors between youth and farmers based on randomly selected recent articles from different journals in the same field. The study found two themes and eight sub-themes that are common and considered as influential factors in entrepreneurial development. Education is one of the most significant elements in the development of a business. Other influential factors are innovation, risk-taking, persistence, management knowledge, self-employed, family support and government support. This paper concludes that both youths and farmers have the required entrepreneur competencies and are motivated to start their own business. However, youth are more willing to innovate and create new ways in their business processes which stretches confidence in terms of business sustainability and growth. They have the potential in speeding the achievement of many SDGs. For instance, SDG1 which promotes entrepreneur’s financial performance (income), SDG 2 which ensures food security, SDG 4 which motivates entrepreneurs to seek for higher education and face the market competition, SDG7 pointing to the use of high tech and sustainable energy tools in their business, SDG8 that eradicates forced labour and slavery, SDG 9, which encourages entrepreneurs to be innovative and creative to compete with the market, SDG15 agricultural business that helps to increase local production, green spaces and preserve local species, SDG17 which targets the development of global partnerships for sustainable development and encourages business deals with global, SDG11, which aims at the sustainability of human settlements.
