This work is focused on the environmental awareness level of the students at different educational stages in terms of demographic variables, educational participants, interrelation with sequential education stages, correlation with knowledge, attitude, and behavior, student curricula and teacher training programs. The research about environmental awareness comes in response to the call of UN Decade of Education for Sustainable Development (2005-2014). Quality education is the fourth goal among the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals. A plethora of studies related to all 17 Goals of Sustainable Development conclude that quality education is of prime importance in the planning, policy making and implementation of the SDGs.
