In this paper we provide a review of important ambulance allocation models developed in the last 40 years. These models include both strategic and operational level decisions. The review aims to provide researchers with an easy to-understand, comprehensive and up-to-date summary of deterministic, probabilistic, and dynamic ambulance location models. © 2019 IEEE.
