University of Bahrain Partners with National Oil and Gas Authority, Tatweer Petroleum, Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning and Electricity and Water Authority on a project with the aim of developing an ESCO market in the Kingdom based on best international practices. The university will also carry out research on market potential and identify, quantify and model the value of building an ESCO market in Bahrain considering environment, economy, jobs, manufacturing, real estate and academia. Through the collaboration, the university will also initiate energy-related specializations that address the value chain as well as initiate energy certification programs for individuals and companies.
