The university organizes the Fourth annual forum on Innovation and Entrepreneurship which was held on 21 October 2019 at Sh. Abdulaziz Hall, University of Bahrain. The forum started in 2016 with the aim to encourage potential entrepreneurs to start ventures in the Kingdom of Bahrain. This free event provides entrepreneurs with an opportunity to meet decision makers, venture capitalist and other stakeholders. This event was attended by more than 1500 participants, which is one of the biggest events related to sustainability of startups. The event was organized as part of Manama Entrepreneurship Week (www.manamaweek.com) which is also a free event organized by the Capital Governorate (www.capital.gov.bh) in Bahrain that connects and enables entrepreneurs and startups through showcasing leading regional and International success stories and highlighting the various support and business acceleration mediums available in the Kingdom of Bahrain. MEW is a week-long event, held annually, presenting various events, seminars, workshops and conferences that are held in celebration of entrepreneurship, further promoting and optimizing the Entrepreneurship Ecosystem.

The event aim was to motivate the abilities and skills of more than 5000 individuals from the people in the Kingdom of Bahrain through series of workshops and training lectures, which included creative methods and ideas which benefited those who are planning to start pioneering new projects. The event aims at providing the labor market with qualified competencies in the field of entrepreneurial pioneer projects. It also facilitates for those involved in the event to identify the most important and modern ways of establishing pioneering projects until they progress and achieve the desired goals ultimately. This contributes to achieving benefits not only on the personal level of the participant, but at the community’s level as a whole. Therefore, the participants will be able to transform their ideas and dreams into inspiring projects that we can see on the ground as long as they work hard.
