The University of Bahrain (UOB) is ranked in the top 201-300 universities in the Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings 2020 among more than 800 institutions around the world.
The Times Higher Education Impact Rankings assess the universities activities and performance in relation to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The results of these ranking takes into account the university’s positive social and economic impact including research, outreach and stewardship, highlighting Bahrain’s strength in achieving sustainability goals. There are 17 SDGS goals. The universities are ranked against SDG17- Partnership for goals and three other goals that are scored high by the universities.
UOB is among the top 100 universities in the four SDGS. The university has been ranked 61 in the SDG2: No poverty, ranked 87 in SDG17: Partnership for goals, ranked 94 in SDG15: Life on Land and ranked 99 in SDG14: Life below water. The detailed ranking results are shown in the Table below:
