Mobile Cloud Computing (MCC) has only been a natural evolution that has emerged post the amalgamation between cloud computing, the advancements in wireless technologies, and mobile technologies dominating the scene as of late. MCC offers many promises. It has the potential to override the mobile device limitations, empowering the user and hence providing unprecedented services. However, such possibilities seldom are free of challenges. This paper classifies the security and privacy aspects prevalent to Mobile Cloud Computing. It present an overview of the security and privacy concerns and highlight the problems related to these security issues. The paper proposes a comprehensive security framework to tackle and solve the security and privacy problems facing MCC. © 2019 IEEE.
