Distribute UoB water calendar to highlight awareness for water consumption
The drawing of the school kids in the “Year of Water” first activity were collected and produced to highlight the best kids drawing in the activity. Based on this, the University of Bahrain has launched its 2020 Calendar including the drawings of 12 kids about water consumption. This is among the “Year of Water” activities that mainly spread awareness and knowledge among the community, especially school kids, regarding water security issues and the threat of continuous high water consumptions. Around 100 Kids were gathered in Sharifa Al-Awadhi social club in Riffa and they were all involved in drawings related to water. The best 12 drawing were chosen to be placed in UoB 2020 calendar. The objective of this calendar is to tackle SDG 6 through schools kids participations.
