The event is part of a competition organized by Injaz Bahrain – a non-profit organization that aims at empowering young people. The invented product revives the past in a modern, environmentally friendly manner through the design of an easy-to-carry pottery bottle, in leather. The project aims to design a new product in an innovative and unusual way to replace environmentally harmful plastic water bottles. Eight students from the college participated in the competition, they introduced more than 500 students to the product and offer it for sale at the main restaurant complex on the university campus in Sakhir, where the majority of the students have their lunch break. Encouraging the students to use sustainable, reusable bottles that help prevent water and land pollution.
