The University of Bahrain participated in the National Environment Day of Bahrain. The public forum aimed to spread awareness related to the impacts of plastics on land and marine ecosystems. The study provided an account of the public opinions toward public littering both on land and coastal areas in Bahrain. The study shared the main outcomes and discussed the measures and actions that could be taken to reduce the impacts of plastics on ecosystems.
