Improve performance of private school teaching and learning
The Bahrain Teachers College has offered a teacher professional development program for private schools, encompassing two requirements. First, the need of many teachers in the private schools to receive adequate and immediate professional development in your current job as teachers is high. Second, the Ministry of Education requires that private school teachers obtain development for the purpose of quality enhancement. The project consists of three main strands. They are as follows: (a) Teaching pedagogy, which consists of three workshops on teaching skills and pedagogies, reflective practice, and mentoring of teachers and peers. (b) Assessment, which consists of three workshops on test item writing and design, test analysis, and overall assessment design. (c) Student learning and outcomes, which consists of two phases, including action research design and action research implementation.
