To encourage students to participate in activities and practices outside campus
During the marine biology course which is part of the , students of the biology department program has participated in training to be licensed in Scuba diving from the National Association of Underwater Instructors (NAUI) and the Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI), respectively. The course aims to deliver scientific knowledge and develop research in marine biodiversity to the students. As the Kingdom of Bahrain is a Small Island Developed State (SIDS), UoB is ensuring to raise students awareness and knowledge in Marine and Costal ecosystems. This is by encouraging them to get such licenses that assures their lifelong learning as long as allow them to deeply investigate life under water.
