Collaboration with General Directorate of Civil Defense

The University of Bahrain has a strong collaboration with national governmental sectors. An example of this is the collaboration with the General Directorate of Civil Defense in Bahrain. This is to assure safety regulations and procedures in working place especially laboratories and hazardous material storage and transport. Around 30 college of science members have attended several training and workshops that focused on land and water sensitive waste disposal and dealing with hazardous materials. Such collaboration aims to reduce and manage hazardous waste according to national policies.
