The University of Bahrain contributes to the world publishing scientific knowledge by offering world researchers the opportunity to publish their findings in the Arab Journal for Basic and Applied Sciences (AJBAS). It is an annual journal that publishes high-quality, open access original research in the field of natural, applied sciences, engineering and computer science with a strong focus on discrete mathematics, environmental chemistry and applied analytical methods. All published research articles in this journal have undergone rigorous double-blind peer review by expert international referees, after initial editor screening. The journal is included in the international data basics such as Scopus and has metrics from Scimago. The journal citing score in 2018 is 1.94 and in 2019 has reached 2.78 and in Mathematics the journal ranked among the top 30 from 338 multidisciplinary journals. The journal has international editorial board covering many continents and countries. In 2019, 48 articles were published and all the journal volumes have an open access to researchers to disseminate knowledge. Currently, the journal is hosted by Taylor and Francis publishing company and requires no publication fees from the authors.
