In collaboration with British embassy in Bahrain, University of Bahrain hosted the air pollution forum, which presented the current situation of air pollution in Bahrain and in the region. Around 200 researchers from UoB, other universities and industrial sectors have attended this forum and shared knowledge and experiences in air pollution detection, effects and mitigation solutions. Such collaborative forum is a part of environmental week in Bahrain that were arranged with the British embassy and the supreme council of environment in Bahrain. such educational event created a strong research platform through cross-sectoral dialogue. It also enhanced international collaboration to tackle SDGs.
