Students of the nursing department rushed to be a part of the ‘Bahrain team’ COVID-19 response team.
During the visit of the World Health Organization representative Dr. Atatera. She noted and commended the university’s efforts in applying all safety and preventative measures during the COVID-19 pandemic stating: “These measures demonstrated the readiness of the Kingdom of Bahrain, led by ‘Bahrain team’, to address disasters and pandemics”.
Dr Atatera also pointed out that the World Health Organization is closely following the leading role played by the University of Bahrain as well as its efforts in training the national cadres in the field of nursing and allied sciences, and how it contributed to achieving a high percentage of Bahrainization in health jobs.
