Dr. Lamia Mohammed Al Jasmi, The Dean of the College of Information Technology, stated that the number of research papers submitted to the conference amounted to 137, prepared by 352 researchers from 35 countries. The organizing committee of the conference announced the start of receiving working papers and studies on June 15 and confirmed that acceptance notification of research papers for participation in the conference will be sent via e-mail in the second half of July 2021. The fourth edition of the conference is scheduled for 29-30 September 2021. This conference came after the launch of Hackathon “Post Corona Pandemic (Covid-19) Recovery” in cooperation with the Bahrain Institute of Public Administration (BIPA) and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in June 2021. Participants in the conference will discuss several topics, the most important of which are artificial intelligence, financial technology, cloud computing, cyber security, blockchain, big data, innovations, technologies, the Internet of things, women in technology, smart cities, informatics, software engineering, communications, information networks, robotics, as well as e-learning in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.
