1. Identify the consumers’ buying behavior on fuel stations in Bahrain and determine their needs for various convenient services.
2. Explore all factors influencing the selection of the fuel station in Bahrain and define the intensity of the role played by these factors affecting the decision-making.
3. Provide sufficient quality information and analysis to help BAPCO to adopt effective strategies for a fuel stations’ business development.
BAPCO has assigned this research to the University of Bahrain for a purpose of studying the fuel stations’ market in Bahrain to understand the customers’ attitudes and behaviors toward the environment of fuel stations given services in addition to any other ancillary services that could be augmented to capitalize its total investment in this business field. The scope of work thus was to survey, qualitatively and quantitatively, a range of the fuel stations’ customers in Bahrain on the sites of the stations as well as by using other different techniques and channels to explore their impressions, beliefs and aspirations about the stations’ current as well as future services.
The aim of this study is to provide meaningful information, recommendations and managerial implications to BAPCO’s policy makers to help building a strong marketing and profit maximization strategy for the fuel stations’ business enterprises in Bahrain going forward.
