The University of Bahrain took part in the national ‘Genome screening’ campaign by providing 116 laboratory samples to the Genome Biobank taken from the University’s staff volunteers.

Hamad Abdul Jabbar Hassan, the coordinator of the University of Bahrain Health Center, said: “The participation of the University of Bahrain in this national campaign comes within the framework of the goals of achieving community participation, working to achieve sustainable development goals in good health and well-being, and forming partnerships to achieve the goals,” stressing that the university looks forward to contributing A bigger role in future posts.
