The University of Bahrain’s team for Green House Gas (GHG) prepared a national report: “Bahrain’s Third National Communication Under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change”. This report was prepared as part of the collaboration between the Supreme Council for Environment and the UNDP. The team was formed in 2017 and includes academics from the College of Science and College of Engineering and is coordinated by the Vice President Prof. Waheeb Alnasser who is an active researcher in this field. The report, which was submitted in October 2019, included four years (2016-2018) GHG inventory for Bahrain and recommendations on mitigating the GHG in Bahrain.
