To spread healthy food awareness among community especially school kids
The University of Bahrain has joined the first year of healthy food and safety week activity with the collaboration of ministry of health and al Raja School and social development. This revealed the direct input of UoB in national strategy to tackle SDG 2. This is to participate in raising the awareness of the importance of food sustainability and the need of responsible food consumption. Series of events are planned to be established by the 2020. Youth event has already held at the Al Raja School with the attendance of around 120 school students. It aimed to raise the awareness of the healthy food security in among community. It also promotes the role of society in achieving lower food consumption levels in Bahrain.
