On the 14th and 15th October 2018, the Deanship of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research at the University of Bahrain (UOB) the Sustainability and Resilience Conference. The conference aimed at:

Around 200 practitioners and experts attended the two-day event. Such a unique portfolio of academic universities and research institutions aim at establishing “Sustainability and Resilience Centre” on the long-term, which shall be mandated to act as a center of excellence as well as regional think tank providing applied projects and empirical researches in the domain of sustainable development and the co-related ends. The conference is a great opportunity for positioning Bahrain as a “Regional Hub” for sustainability and resilience, and provides participants with gigantic opportunities for knowledge sharing and experience exchange that would eventually accumulate in setting new policies and strategies.
