To boost employment opportunities by educating students on the benefits of jobs in the private sector and entrepreneurship

Injaz Head Start Training Program was first implemented as a pilot for 330 students in May 2018. The session was organized and set up through the coordination of the English Language Centre (ELC) and INJAZ on two days.
The ELC was encouraged by the success of the first INJAZ Head Start Training Program to integrate Head Start Program into the Foundation Program. All students received the 6-hour training from December 23, to January 2, 2019. The session on “Writing Your resume” was delivered in the writing class (ENGLR 005); the session on “Interviewing” was delivered in the Speaking and Listening class (ENGLR 006); and the session on “The Internship” was delivered in the Reading class (ENGLR 004). All teachers received training and volunteered to deliver the sessions. INJAZ Program was repeated in April 2019. By the end of the academic year 2018-2019, approximately, 3000 students completed INJAZ program which boosts employment opportunities by educating students on the benefits of jobs in the private sector and entrepreneurship. The University of Bahrain, following this event, won the first place winning prize for the highest number of participation among all the universities in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
