Ensure a better health by collaborating with King Hamad Hospital to Train Health Sciences students
UOB had a Cooperation Agreement with King Hamad University Hospital (KHUH) on March 13, 2018. The Agreement aims at supporting healthcare education by providing professional training to students from the Nursing and Allied Health programs of the College of Health Sciences. The supervisory training includes clinical training, laboratory training and rotatory internship.
Furthermore, in line with addressing training needs of governmental institutions in the Kingdom to upgrade health care services, UoB has cooperated with KHUH in launching the Patient Care Assistant (PCA) program to cater solely for King Hamad Hospital staff at an educational degree lower than the Associate Degree. This Collaboration tends to improve health and wellbeing outcome.
